AS Roma x Roma: A second afternoon event brings more clubs together

Following a hugely-productive first event back in April which saw 60 clubs from the local region come together for discussions about future collaboration and knowledge-sharing, on Wednesday morning representatives from those same clubs were back at Trigoria for a follow-up event that built on some of the initial discussion points.

In the afternoon, meanwhile, a batch of 40 new clubs were at Trigoria for a first, introductory meeting session.

Both sessions were overseen by Vincenzo Vergine, the club’s Head of Youth Development, who reiterated the importance of closer collaboration with grassroots clubs around Rome and the Lazio region as part of Roma’s wider plan to help the development of the best young players in the region.
