Elin Landstrom joins Roma Women!

The club is pleased to announce the signing of Elin Landstrom.

Landstrom, 30, has agreed terms with Roma Women on a contract that runs until 30 June 2023.

The defender joins the Giallorosse after spending the 2021-22 season at Serie A side Inter Milan.

"I’m very happy to be representing Roma for the upcoming season," Landstrom said.

"The club has high ambitions and that’s something I really wanted to be a part of.

"I am really excited for the possibility to play in the Champions League again and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together as a team this season!"

Landstrom, a full-back by trade, arrives in the Italian capital having amassed over 200 appearances in the Swedish top flight during her career to date, along with 19 for the Nerazzurre last term.

"It is with great pleasure that we welcome Elin to the club," said Betty Bavagnoli, the club's Head of Women's Football.

"We wanted her here because she already knows the Italian league well, but also because - thanks to her experience overseas - we believe she will be able to further contribute to the development of our project.

"We will definitely be counting on her to help us achieve the targets that we have already set ourselves."
