Torino 0-3 Roma: Perfect preparation for Tirana

Roma got the job done in style on Friday night, beating Torino 3-0 to secure European football for next season.

Ahead of Wednesday's Europa Conference League final, which also offers a Europa League place to the winners, the Giallorossi nevertheless ensured that added bonus will not be necessary - as Tammy Abraham scored twice and Lorenzo Pellegrini added another in an emphatic win.

The three points mean Jose Mourinho's side will finish sixth at worst in Serie A, enough to secure European football for a ninth straight campaign.

Not for the first time this season, it was Abraham who unlocked the contest - and in the process set his side on the way to another invaluable three points.

Receiving Pellegrini's smart ball inside the Torino box, the England international spun off his man before slotting home calmly, giving the visitors a nerve-calming lead.

Ten minutes later he was at it again, this time after Etrit Berisha had fouled him inside the box. The penalty was straight down the middle but nevertheless fooled the goalkeeper, as Tammy made it two in Turin.

He had further chances for a hat-trick in the second half, but in the end he ceded the best of them to Pellegrini - as the captain fired home from 12 yards out after substitute Nicolo Zaniolo had been dragged down inside the area.

That proved more than enough to wrap up the contest, clinching European qualification and leaving one less thing for the side to focus on ahead of Wednesday's eagerly-anticipated game.
