A number of Roma Women players have been called up by their respective national sides for the latest round of international fixtures.
Alessandro Spugna's side closed the latest phase of the domestic campaign with a 7-1 win over Hellas Verona at the weekend - leaving them within touching distance of booking a place in next season's Champions League.
A total of eight Giallorosse players have been named in the Italy squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Lithuania and Switzerland.
Elisa Bartoli, Lucia Di Guglielmo, Manuela Giugliano, Benedetta Glionna, Giada Greggi, Elena Linari, Annamaria Serturini and Angelica Soffia will all be at Milena Bertolini's disposal for the contests.
Goalkeeper Camelia Ceasar has been called up to the Romania squad once again (for games against Switzerland and Croatia), while Milica Mijatovic is in the Serbia squad for meetings with Israel and Germany.
Elsewhere, Tecla Pettenuzzo (Italy) and Sophie Roman Haug (Norway) are both in their respective Under-23 squads.
Italy's Under-19 squad also has a strong Giallorosse tinge to it: Elena Battistini, Alice Corelli, Marika Massimino and Liliana Merolla are all included as the team looks to qualify for the Under-19 European Championships.
