Napoli 0-1 Roma Women: Haavi gets the decisive goal!

Emilie Haavi found the perfect moment to score her first goal for Roma Women, as Alessandro Spugna's side picked up a hard-fought victory on Sunday.

In a ding-dong battle that saw neither side give an inch, Haavi bundled home in the final 10 minutes to ultimately secure victory for the visitors against Napoli - and clinch a seventh straight league triumph in the process.

The result returns Roma top second spot in the Serie A standings, as the chase for Champions League football heats up.

"When you are going up against sides who are fighting to stay up it can be tough," Spugna said afterwards.

"We always had a measure of control, because Napoli did not create many clear-cut chances. We had a few chances and could have taken the lead in the first half. In the end we had to wait until the final 10 minutes - but that's fine because these are three huge points for us."
