Jordan Veretout has been named in the senior France squad for the first time in his career.
Veretout, 28, scored twice in Roma's first Serie A game of the season on Sunday night to help beat his old club Fiorentina - a performance that appears to have caught the eye of France coach Didier Deschamps.
Veretout was among four new faces to be named in Deschamps' squad for upcoming World Cup qualification games against Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ukraine and Finland.
