A Scuola di Tifo: Edoardo Bove the latest guest!

Young midfielder Edoardo Bove became the latest Roma player to join the 'Scuola di Tifo' ('A School for Fans') initiative, as he joined students for a lesson on Thursday afternoon.

Bove joined - online, at least - a group of girls and boys from the Simonetta Salacone Comprehensive School to talk about the importance of qualities like fair play, respect and equality.

The midfielder, who is also currently a student himself at LUISS University in the city, answered questions from the 34 children in attendance.

"I think fair play is something that should exist in all aspects of life, from sport to everything you do in a day-to-day context," he said.

"In football integrity is a quality you have to have - and you need to always have respect for both your teammates and your opponents. You have to be able to accept defeat when you lose, but show respect for your adversary when you win.

"I, like many of the other younger guys in the squad, am lucky to be able to play and train every day alongside players that have a lot of experience, and I learn a huge amount from them about how you need to carry yourself - on the pitch and in life."
