Fixture list: Final day derby catches the eye

Alessandro Spugna will take his bow as Giallorosse coach in a competitive game against his former side Empoli, as the teams kick off the campaign in Tuscany later this month.

Meanwhile the reigning Coppa Italia champions will finish the season with a derby against Lazio - after they were promoted from Serie B last season.

The first Derby della Capitale between the two clubs is scheduled for the end of December, bringing down the curtain on 2021 for both sides.

"The first game will mean a lot to me, going back to face Empoli," Spugna said.

"It's a great game and I did think it might be our first game. I know everyone there very well, so obviously it will be a great occasion."

He added: "We need to try and do as well as we possibly can in the three games before the first international break - but, that being said, it's still a 22-game season and we need to take things step-by-step.

"We need to make sure we start well so when the big games against our rivals arrive we are in the position we want to be."
