Roma Women 1-0 Fiorentina: Serturini ensures winning run continues!

The Giallorosse made it three straight wins since the last international break thanks to Serturini's strike just after half-time, as the winger steered home expertly from close range.

Alessandro Spugna's side were good value for their victory, in a game where Benedetta Glionna hit the post and Elisa Bartoli and Andressa Alves both went close.

"I'm delighted to help the team pick up another three points," Serturini said afterwards.

"It's vital for what we want to achieve. Today we showed the right attitude - the attitude of a top side."

Spugna added: "We could have scored more today - we will need to improve in that regard.

"But the girls were amazing; it was an important game, a tough game, where we needed the three points to keep in touch with those at the top of the table and we managed that. Really well done."
