Here are the key details to know ahead of Saturday's Serie A meeting between Roma Women and Hellas Verona...

The game (kick-off: 14:30 CET) takes place at Sinergy Stadium in Verona.

The eighth game of the league campaign for the Giallorosse, Alessandro Spugna's side will be looking to build on the positive momentum created by last weekend's invaluable win over Sassuolo.

    Form guide

After last weekend's 2-0 win over Sassuolo, Roma have 13 points from their opening seven games - a record for them at this stage of a Serie A season.

Spugna's side lost their last away game, however, a 1-0 defeat against Inter Milan. The side have never gone two away games without scoring.

Verona, in contrast, are currently experiencing their worst ever start to a league campaign, with just one point picked up from their seven games to date. Only two of the last 10 sides to have so few points at this stage of the campaign have subsequently managed to stay up: Napoli last season, and Sassuolo in 2017-18.

    General statistics

Roma have won four of their last six games in Serie A against Verona, but have lost two of three away meetings with the Gialloblu. The last of those came in March, in fact, as the side lost out 1-0.

No side has had more possession than Roma so far this season (62%), while no side has had less than Verona (40%).

With eight goals in the first 30 minutes of gmaes so far this season, no side has notched more early goals than the Giallorosse to date - who are also the only side still to concede in the that first half-hour. A clean sheet in this game, however, would make it consecutive clean sheets for the side for the first time since February.

Roma are second among Serie A sides for goals from outside the area this season (3) and for most different goalscorers (7).

    Opposition focus

Verona's last Serie A win actually came against Roma, on May 6 last season. Since then they have gone on to lose nine league matches, more than any other side during the same period.

Pachera's side have scored a goal in each of their last three games, however - the last time they set a longer streak than that in the league was back in December 2019.

Verona have conceded more shots on target this season (56) and are only behind Lazio and Napoli for fewest shots on goal themselves (20).

Verona have conceded seven goals from set-pieces already in this campaign, a league high.

Lineth Cedeño is the team's primary goalscoring threat, having scored three goals so far this season.

Ana Jelencic and Caterina Ambrosi have both played every single minute for their sides so far this season (630 minutes in total).

Anna Catelli is one of just two players born in 2002 or later to have started all seven games so far this season. The other is Michela Giordano (Sampdoria).

    Focus on Roma

Andressa is the only Roma player in history to have reached double figures for both goals and assists in Serie A over the course of her time with the club. In 34 games to date, the Brazil international has scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists.

Annamaria Serturini has scored two goals in her career against Verona. Only against Fiorentina (3) has she scored more.

Manuela Giugliano's first goal for Roma came in an away game against Verona, back in October 2019.

    Familiar faces

Angelica Soffia began her career at Verona, where she also wore the captain's armband. In total she made 42 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Valeria Pirone scored two goals in 16 games for Verona in her 2019-20 campaign with the club. Last season she scored twice against her old club while playing for Sassuolo.

Benedetta Glionna made 16 appearances for Verona during the 2019-20 season, scoring five goals. Yet her old side could soon become her preferred victim: to date she has managed three goals against them (two for Empoli and one for Juventus).
