Fiorentina 1-2 Roma Women: Delightful comeback win!

Italy international duo Manuela Giugliano and Annamaria Serturini scored second half goals as the Giallorosse clawed their way to victory - a triumph that strengthens their grip on a top-four finish.

Betty Bavagnoli's side hit the woodwork on no fewer than four occasions prior to Giugliano's penalty opener - before Serturini steered home at the back post to clinch victory.

Sara Baldi had opened the scoring in the game midway through the first half.

"Once again, both teams have been involved in a great game," Bavagnoli said afterwards.

"Today we were facing a great team, who caused us problems. You could see both sides knew each other well and had prepared well. I asked my players to keep committing to getting better in all aspects, and today they did that - especially from a mental perspective. That was the key today."
