The Primavera got back to winning ways in impressive fashion on Wednesday, coming out on the triumphant side of a 5-3 victory over Cagliari at Trigoria.
The result means Alberto De Rossi's side are still in the hunt to reach the play-off rounds at the end of the league campaign.
Lamine Tall was at his acrobatic best to twice give his side the lead in the contest, although the visitors twice fought back to have things level midway in the second half.
But a flurry of goals from Edoardo Bove and substitutes Felix Afena Gyan and Suf Podgoreanu finally clinched the game for good - rendering Nicola Zalewski's earlier missed penalty nothing more than an unfortunate incident.
Cagliari, meanwhile, converted a penalty of their own deep into injury time to amend the final scoreline slightly.
