The Bianconere - crowned champions last weekend - maintained their 100 per cent league record thanks to Barbara Bonansea's strike seven minutes after half-time.
It was perhaps a modicum of revenge for the visitors, after Roma knocked them out of the Coppa Italia in the semi-finals - becoming the first Italian side to beat them in almost two years in the process.
That final takes place against AC Milan in two weeks' time.
“Today we weren’t able to make the most of the two or three chances we created against a really good side,” coach Betty Bavagnoli said.
“We need to improve on that and make sure we are much more clinical in the final games of the season.”
