Bavagnoli expects renewed focus ahead of Verona trip

The Giallorosse are looking to continue a four-match winning streak in the league, but Bavagnoli knows it will not be plain sailing.

We have kept our concentration levels high by taking everything game-by-game, moving step-by-step, and that’s what we have been doing since the start of 2021,” she said.

“So we need to keep that up, preparing for each game in the right way without being influenced by good results, which we have had recently, or bad ones either. Right now we are in a good moment and we want to continue progressing – but we know each game is different.

“It will be a tough game and so we will face Verona with great respect and determination. They are a side that can hurt teams and so we have to make sure we are very focused and don’t give them anything anyway, which has been one of our strengths recently.”
