Dzeko ready to rejoin teammates

Having been in isolation throughout the international break, the negative result means the club captain can now embark on the protocol with the aim of reintegrating with the first-team prior to Thursday's Europa League engagement with Cluj.

Dzeko celebrated the good news with a post on social media.

"Finally, a negative test!" he said.

"Now I can't wait to start training again with my teammates, to help the team to continue playing so well!"

Dzeko had missed the side's last two matches due to his positive diagnosis.
