Roma players will wear a special patch on their shirts on Sunday - dedicated to Gigi Proietti, who passed away this week.
Proietti, a titan of the Italian arts, died on Monday morning.
A proud Roman and Roma fan, his death was mourned throughout the country.
For Sunday's game against Genoa, players will pay tribute to Proietti through one of his most iconic characters - Mandrake, from the 1976 film 'Febbre da Cavallo' ('The Horse Whisperer').
A patch featuring the character's distinctive appearance, along with the phrase Grazie Mandra’ (Thank you, Mandrake), will be printed on the centre of the team's shirts.
The shirts will then be put up for auction. In conjunction with the Proietti family, an announcement will be made in due course about the causes that the proceeds from the various auctions will go towards supporting.
Roma face Genoa on Sunday afternoon, with kick-off at 15:00 CET.
