Ashraf Magdy: "My name is Ashraf Magdy Abdel Fattah, and I am a mechanical engineer, and a co-founder of Roma Club Egypt, along with Marwan Salah.
"Over the last seven years, we have held watch parties, formed a five-a-side football team, and created merchandise for our members."
When was Roma Clun Egypt formed, and what was the idea behind setting up the club?
"The idea behind Roma Club Egypt was simply to bring together as many Roma fans as possible, In Egypt, Serie A traditionally does not get as much coverage as some of the other European leagues, so we wanted a platform to united like-minded Serie A, and specifically Roma supporters. Using social media, and primarily Facebook, we have become one of the most active Roma clubs in the region."
Have any members of Roma Club Egypt been to a match?
"Yes, several of our members have been to Roma matches over the years. It is the dream for every member of Roma Club Egypt to attend a match in person."
Why should someone join Roma Club Egypt?
"Members of Roma Club Egypt feel a unique bond with the club and each other. When you're watching a match with us, you're sharing all emotions with each and every member of Roma Club Egypt. We are truly a family."
Aside from watching matches, what other activities do members of Roma Club Egypt do together?
"We have formed a 5-a-side football team, which has won many tournaments, and is now considered one of the strongest teams in our league.
"Additionally, we have created custom club merchandise, organised fundraisers, and worked with fan clubs of fellow Italian teams for events together."
What does it mean to be a part of the Roma family?
"Forming Roma Club Egypt has been an absolute dream come true. What started as two passionate Roma fans watching matches together has grown into a vibrant, passionate community. We have made so many friends not only in Egypt, but throughout the whole region, and world. We can't wait to see what's next for Roma Club Egypt!"
