Javier Pastore has given an update on his condition, after he underwent surgery in Barcelona this week.
The Argentine midfielder, 31, underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his left hip - with the club' medical staff later confirming that the surgery had been completed successfully.
Posting on Instagram the following day, Pastore updated his followers to confirm that everything went well - and that he is looking forward to recovering as soon as possible.

"Hi guys! Yesterday I underwent surgery on my hip, which is why I am here in Barcelona," Pastore wrote.
"It all went well - apart from a little bit of pain right now!
"As you all know, I have fought this problem all year - but I tried to wait as long as possible before undergoing the operation, to try and be available to both the coach and my teammates until the end of the season.
"Now I will concentrate on recovering as fast as possible and preparing in the best possible way for next season. Forza Roma!"
