Roma World: Meet Rwothomio Kelly Keith Calvin from Uganda

In today's edition of Roma World, we meet Rwothomio, a Giallorossi super-fan in Uganda, holding down yellow and red pride in the nation's capital

Name: Rwothomio Kelly Keith Calvin

Age: 20

City: Kampala

Country: Uganda

Why did you choose Roma?

Rwothomio: "I didn't choose Roma, so much as Roma chose me. To me, Roma is more than a club - from the players to the staff, to the fans, Roma is family."

What is your first Roma memory?

Rwothomio: "My first memory of Roma is when Florenzi scored that absolute wonder-goal against Barcelona in 2015! I still don't know how he did that!"

Who was your first Roma hero?

Rwothomio: "My first Roma hero was Stephan El Shaarawy in, 2015. Honestly, it was because of his hairstyle! But as I watched him play, I started to appreciate him for more than his hair!"

What was the first Roma game you watched live?

Rwothomio: "The first game I watched live was Totti's emotional last match against Genoa FC where it ended 3-2 in our favour. Before this game, I wasn't allowed to watch Roma live because I had to focus on my studies; but this game was so important, I snuck away - which was well worth it!"

Who is your favourite current Roma player?

Rwothomio: "It has to be Justin Kluivert. His pace, speed, and skill are impossible not to love."

What makes you proud to be a Roma fan?

Rwothomio: "When I put on the Roma shirt, I feel so proud. In fact, everyone in the neighbourhood calls me 'Omuroma' (Which is a word in Luganda that means 'The Guy who supports Roma'). Nothing makes me more proud than being one of the biggest supporters in Uganda!"
