Roma will be hoping to extend their four-match unbeaten run when they travel to SPAL’s Paolo Mazza stadium on Wednesday night for Matchday 35 in Serie A.
Here’s the full break down of the 10 Serie A games taking place over the course of the next three days…
TUESDAY 21 JULY
Atalanta v Bologna
Gewiss Stadium, 19:30 CEST
Atalanta will be without the suspended Hans Hateboer for Bologna’s visit as they defend their 14-match unbeaten run knowing anything but a win will end their faint hopes of a first Scudetto.
As for Bologna, they’re four games without a victory but could jump to ninth with an eighth away win of the season.
Sassuolo v AC Milan
Mapei Stadium, 21:45 CEST
Forward Gregoire Defrel is one of four injuries for the hosts, who are also without Gianmarco Ferrari after he picked up a fifth booking of the season last time out.
Milan - one place above Sassuolo in seventh - are looking to close the two-point gap on the Giallorossi in the race for fifth and are now eight games unbeaten.
WEDNESDAY 22 JULY
Parma vs Napoli
Ennio Tardini, 19:30 CEST
One more point will guarantee Parma’s Serie A status but they need to arrest a run of seven games without a victory (L6, D1) against a Napoli side also chasing Roma in fifth.
Like Milan, Napoli are two points behind Paulo Fonseca’s men thanks to Matteo Politano’s 95th minute winner against Udinese, but will be without the suspended Arkadiusz Milik.
Inter v Fiorentina
Giuseppe Meazza, 21:45 CEST
Having grabbed a fortunate late point at Roma on Matchday 34, Inter trail leaders Juventus by eight points with four games to play.
The two sides shared a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture in Florence this season, and the visitors go into this in good form having won their last two and gone five unbeaten in total (W3, D2).
Lecce v Brescia
Via del Mare, 21:45 CEST
Since Roma beat them 4-0 on Matchday 25, Lecce have tasted victory just once in their subsequent 10 games and are third-bottom in 18th; four points adrift of safety.
Brescia won at the weekend but are still five points further back and so - with a maximum of 12 more left on offer this season - a defeat here would leave them on the brink.
Sampdoria v Genoa
Luigi Ferraris, 21:45 CEST
Five wins from a possible six (the one defeat coming against Roma) make Sampdoria the most in-form side in the league since the restart, as they’ve steered away from relegation and are now just two points off the top half.
Genoa have two wins from their last three - against fellow strugglers Lecce and SPAL - but are still just four clear of the former in 17th and by no means safe.
SPAL v ROMA
Paolo Mazza, 21:45 CEST
Officially relegated after their defeat to Brescia last time out, SPAL seemed to have restarted superbly with a 2-2 draw with Milan but have since conceded 14 goals in five defeats on the bounce.
As for Roma, they look rejuvenated by Fonseca’s switch to 3-4-2-1 and are looking to make it five games unbeaten in Ferrara and continue to lead the pack in the battle for fifth.
Torino v Hellas Verona
Olimpico Grande Torino, 21:45 CEST
Torino have lost 11 of their last 15 matches, a slide that has seen them drift to 15th and mean their safety is still not guaranteed.
A win would ease their relegation fears but won’t be easy against a Verona side that came from 3-0 down to secure a dramatic 3-3 draw when the sides last met.
THURSDAY 23 JULY
Udinese v Juventus
Stadio Friuli, 19:30 CEST
That 95th minute Napoli winner at the weekend will have hurt Udinese, who are only seven points clear of Lecce in the third and final relegation spot.
Their task won’t be any easier against Juve, who - despite winning just one of their last four - could retain the title with victory, should results elsewhere go their way.
Lazio v Cagliari
Stadio Olimpico, 21:45 CEST
They may be all-but assured a Champions League spot next season but Monday’s defeat to Juve made it four losses from their last five for Lazio, who have the third worst form in the league since the restart.
Cagliari have fared slightly better but still haven’t managed a win in their last six and will be without the injured duo of Radja Nainggolan and Luca Pellegrini.
