Kolarov named in Serie A Team of the Season

Kolarov, 34, was the only Roma representative to be voted into the Team of the Season at the annual Gran Gala del Calcio.

Speaking after the event, Kolarov expressed his satisfaction at the form he is showing at this stage of his career - and his confidence that it can continue for a while yet.

"It's a positive moment for [Roma], we're playing well and must continue like this," he said.

"I'm proud and honoured to be here at 34, but I am especially happy for Roma. I think I have at least another four years left in me."

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo was named the Player of the Season at the ceremony.
