Start collecting your Roma Fan Tokens now!

After the club announced a ground-breaking partnership with Socios.com, a first-of-its-kind blockchain based mobile app for sports and entertainment, back in July 2019, the Fan Tokens are now here to bring supporters even closer to the Giallorossi!

Through once-in-a-lifetime experiences, exceptional rewards and exclusive polls, Socios.com will create a new connection between Roma and its fans the world over.

Next month, millions of A.S. Roma Fan Tokens (or $ASR) will go on sale in a process known as a Fan Token Offering (FTO).

Each $ASR will cost around €2 (depending on currency fluctuations). Ownership of Fan Tokens allows users the opportunity to access incredible, unforgettable experiences with Roma and to earn reward points and vote in club polls and surveys.

The more Tokens a fan owns, the more chances they have to win.

In anticipation of the launch, Socios.com have made thousands of $ASR Fan Tokens available for free throughout January via their in-app Augmented Reality feature 'Token Hunt'.

Hundreds of thousands of free $CHZ, the exclusive digital currency of Socios.com, will also be available to hunt for free. These $CHZ can then be exchanged for official $ASR Fan Tokens when the FTO gets underway.

Once collected, the tokens will be transferred to the user’s in-app digital wallet.

How does it work? Using geo-location technology, Socios.com places tokens at millions of ‘points of interest’ across the world, from stadiums to city centres, and everywhere else in between, ready and waiting for fans to find them.

Fans can log in every day to collect both $CHZ and Fan Tokens. When you join the Daily Global Hunt, seven question mark icons will pop up in your vicinity – wherever you might be in the world.

Tap on any of the question mark icons and it will be revealed as either $CHZ Tokens or Fan Tokens. As you approach the Token, simply tap on it. In this moment, AR mode will be activated, the token will appear in augmented reality, and you simply tap to add it to your in-app wallet.

The Socios.com app is currently available to download on Android. An iOS release of the app is imminent.
