International: Bartoli and Bonfantini involved in dramatic comeback

Roma Women duo Elisa Bartoli and Agnese Bonfantini both made cameo appearances as Italy came from behind to beat hosts Portugal in the Algarve Cup on Wednesday.

With the Azzurre trailing 1-0 in the tournament opener (and quarter-final), Bartoli was introduced with 20 minutes remaining to try and help change the game.

Soon after it was another substitute, Elena Linari, who headed home the equaliser for Milena Bertolini's side.

Bonfantini was then added to the mix in the final few minutes - before Cristina Girelli converted a last-minute penalty to complete the Italy turnaround and a narrow 2-1 win.

Bertolini's side will now face New Zealand on Saturday for a place in the final of the tournament.
