Stat Attack: Facts to know ahead of Juventus cup tie

Ahead of Wednesday night's Coppa Italia quarter-final at the Juventus Stadium, here are a few facts worth knowing about the tie...

    Coppa Italia history

These two sides have faced each other 16 times in the cup over the years - with both sides having emerged victorious on seven occasions. The other two games ended in draws. Overall, from 10 ties, both sides have progressed on five occasions apiece.

    22 cups between them

Juventus and Roma lead the way among the all-time winners of the competition: Juventus have won it 13 times, while the Giallorossi have been victorious on nine occasions.

    Last time around...

Back in January 2014, Rudi Garcia's Roma side beat Juventus 1-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the competition, thanks to a goal from Gervinho. That game, however, took place at the Olimpico.

The record at the Juventus Stadium

Roma are still yet to win a game in the Bianconeri's new home - having lost nine games there since 2012.

    Last win in Turin...

In fact, Roma's last win in Turin against Juventus actually also came in a Coppa Italia quarter-final match. That was back in January 2011, when Mirko Vucinic and Rodrigo Taddei scored the decisive goals.
