Scooter firm eCooltra become club's latest partner

AS Roma and eCooltra, the leading two-wheel mobility sharing company in Italy, have signed an agreement to promote and encourage sustainable mobility in the capital.

Over the next two seasons, both parties will carry out actions, promotions and contests to raise awareness among Romans - and especially Roma supporters - about the need to travel in sustainable vehicles and promote a lifestyle that respects the environment.

eCooltra, which has established itself in the Capital as a leader in sustainable mobility in just three years, offers a scooter sharing service; timely and usable and 100% green-friendly. The company is currently growing its fleet up to 1,050 scooters, all of them from Askoll, the Italian manufacturer from Vicenza.

"The partnership with AS Roma is a source of special pride for us," said Timo Buetefisch, founder and CEO of Cooltra Group.

"Commitment, respect, trust, teamwork are values that characterize sport and sustainability. With the two-year agreement signed with AS Roma as Mobility ally, we intend even more to strengthen the awareness that it is necessary to think about the well-being of our planet.

"We operators, institutions, companies and associations must take responsibility for creating and proposing increasingly sustainable services to guarantee a better future. "

This is the first agreement of this type between a football club and an electric motosharing company in the capital.

"The club has been looking for strategic partnerships for several years to improve and address the problems related to the mobility of our fans on match day," said Francesco Calvo, COO at AS Roma.

"This agreement with eCooltra is part of a series of collaborations that fully marry our ideas and, by providing a further solution, increases the possibilities for our fans to easily reach the stadium, in a completely ecological and functional way."

The debut is scheduled for Sunday, December 15th at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome during the match against SPAL.

As part of the matchday events, eCooltra will launch promotions among attendees to return to their homes in a sustainable way with their scooters.
