The club’s medical staff have issued the following update on the condition of Davide Zappacosta.
The club can confirm that Davide Zappacosta underwent surgery on Friday afternoon to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The operation was carried out by Professor Mariani, at Villa Stuart private hospital in Rome.
The surgery was a success and the player will start the rehabilitation process imminently.
