The Giallorosse go into the final game of the league campaign looking to perhaps spoil the party against La Viola – who could clinch the league title in front of their home fans, should results elsewhere also go their way.
But Bavagnoli’s side will be out for revenge after crashing out of the Coppa Italia to the same opposition on Wednesday – and will want to ensure a somewhat disappointing final few weeks to an otherwise positive first-ever season in Serie A is addressed at the final opportunity.
“These last two days I’ve told the girls that, even if we did not get the result we wanted on Wednesday, we have to stay calm and focused,” Bavagnoli said.
“Because of this we have tried to prepare for Saturday’s game by focusing on the mental aspect more than anything else.
“I would like the girls to show their full quality; I want to see players that believe completely in themselves and the ability they have.”
