On Monday afternoon Roma Women midfielder Manuela Coluccini underwent medical examinations which revealed evidence of a rupture of her anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee.
The Giallorosse No. 8 suffered the injury during the 10th minute of her side's 1-0 defeat against Juventus on Sunday.
Coluccini will undergo surgery in the coming days, and then begin a rehabilitiation plan.
