Alberto De Rossi's Primavera side began their UEFA Youth League campaign with a 3-1 defeat away to Real Madrid on Wednesday afternoon.
At the Stadio Alfredo Di Stefano at Real's training complex, goals from Pedro Ruiz, Antonio Rodrigues and Fran Garcia helped the hosts into a healthy lead - before substitute Gianmarco Cangiano grabbed a goal back for the Giallorossi.
Elsewhere in Group G, Viktoria Plzen and CSKA Moscow drew 1-1.
