Almost 3,000 Roma fans voted in our official Twitter poll to determine the team’s star performer in the 2-0 victory over Lazio on Sunday and we can now reveal the final result
In the head-to-head vote, goalscorer Gervinho – the uninamous choice for Man of the Match among the newspapers in Rome – was up against Radja Nainggolan, captaining the Giallorossi for the first time in the absence of Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi.
On this occassion, the Belgian international was the clear winner in the eyes of fans – polling 64% of the total votes.
