“You can see how focused my players are; they're going into this with the right attitude,” the U19 boss declared ahead of the game. “The coaching staff are all on their toes too of course, that goes without saying.”
Roma are just one step away from reaching the Final Four in Nyon for the second consecutive year.
“It's a really big match for us and it offers us the chance to equal our achievement from last season," De Rossi continued.
“We're up against a tough team and we're playing away again but my boys are used to turning in big performances and overcoming the obstacles they're faced with. PSG are a bit more physical but Salzburg, Barcelona, PSV and Bayer Leverkusen are great teams too.
“We have to go out there set on beating them by playing as a team. They have a number of players with fantastic technical ability but they're physically strong too.
“We'll need to keep it tight and stay compact. There's a fantastic team spirit at Roma and overcoming obstacles together is part of the boys' learning process.”
