Totti was 16 when he made his debut in 1993.

Snoop Doggy Dogg, the hottest rapper that year, wouldn’t release his debut single ‘What’s My Name?’ for another six months. To give you some idea of the longevity of the Roma captain’s on-going Giallorossi career, Snoop has since gone on to release no fewer than 13 albums.

The Minidisc had only been released a year earlier, MP3s were still some four years ago and the first ever iPod wouldn’t hit the shops for another eight years.

So, to mark the 23rd anniversary of Totti’s debut, we’ve compiled a playlist of some of the biggest records that have been released since that day – one for every year he’s played for Roma.
