Q&A: Read Florenzi's chat with fans in full

AS Roma recently became the first football club in the world to launch an official account on the WeChat platform outside of China and today’s intimate live chat with Florenzi proved particularly popular with thousands of fans attempting to join the conversation.

Only 100 followers can join the conversation live but we’ve re-produced the entire chat in this article so that all fans can read what the midfielder had to say on a variety of subjects ranging from his Serie A debut to his goal at the weekend as well as his off the pitch interests. Getting into the spirt of the WeChat platform, Florenzi began and ended the chat with an audio message for the fans whilst the Giallorossi No. 24 also made one fan’s day by posing for a selfie!

“Nainggolan is the friendliest and Keita is the most serious.”

What happened with the Mediaset journalist at the end of the match against Torino?
“Absolutely nothing. These things can happen in the heat of the moment. Usually I would never have left the interview and I would have answered the questions.”

Will you marry me?
“I’m already taken!”

Were you emotional when you made your Serie A debut?
“It was very emotional and something I’ll always carry with me. It was in Roma v Sampdoria on May 22, 2011… I’ll never forget it!”

“What Francesco has done is a one-off, but all players have their own careers!”

“Yes, particularly on a personal level as I was alone there and didn’t have my family around me.”

“Luciano Ligabue!”

What were you thinking before the penalty against Torino?
“I was very focused and was only thinking about scoring.”

Are you ready for your team-mates to cover you with cards during a flight again?
“No, but the next time we’re on a plane together…”

What’s Keita like as a player?
“He’s a great professional. He has a wealth of experience and is helping us this year.”

How did it feel to link up with Andrea Bertolacci in the national team?
“It was great to have him as an international team-mate, given that he’s a great friend on and off the pitch.”

How much do you train to be able to run so much?
“A lot.”
