There was a rather famous face in amongst the crowd of more than 20,000 football supporters who packed into the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium on Friday night to watch AS Roma take on Al Ahyl.
His name: Diego Armando Maradona.
The Argentinian, who now lives in Dubai, made the 90 minute journey to Al Ain, to watch Francesco Totti and later posted about it on his official Facebook page.
“Watching the great Francesco Totti, live, in the friendly match between Al Ahly and Roma,” wrote the footballing icon in three languages from the stadium.
