The club can confirm that Leandro Castan has joined Sampdoria on loan for the duration of the 2016-17 season
AS Roma can confirm that Leandro Castan has joined Sampdoria on loan for the duration of the 2016-17 season.
Sampdoria will pay a loan fee of €500,000 for the 29-year-old. The agreement also contains performance-related clauses, with a maximum additional fee of €750,000 payable if both the club and the player reach certain targets.
Castan joined the Giallorossi at the start of the 2012-13 season, going on to make 81 appearances for the club – scoring one goal, against Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico during his first season at the club.
Last season the Brazilian made five appearances for Roma.
