Vasilis Torosidis, Mohamed Salah, Antonio Rudiger, Kevin Strootman, Lucas Digne and Juan Manuel Iturbe – in that order – turned out for their respective national sides on Saturday.
Vasilis Torosidis was in action Down Under as he captained Greece for 90 minutes against Australia. The Greeks were beaten by a late Matthew Leckie goal at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
Mohamed Salah then helped Egypt book their spot at next year's Africa Cup of Nations with a match-winning brace in a 2-0 victory over Tanzania at Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium.
Antonio Rudiger played his part in Germany's clean sheet and 2-0 success over Hungary in a friendly at Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, courtesy of Adam Lang's own goal and a Thomas Muller strike. The Giallorossi defender expressed his satisfaction with the win via Twitter after the match.
