They may not have made it onto the field for Italy’s win over Belgium on Monday, but Stephan El Shaarawy and Alessandro Florenzi still took to social media to celebrate the Azzurri’s victory
As well as congratulating the side on the three points, both men called for the whole squad to now switch their focus to their upcoming match against Sweden in Toulouse on Friday 17 June (15:00 CEST kick-off).
“This is just the beginning,” wrote El Shaarawy on Instagram, sharing a photo of the Italy squad on the team bus after the game “Great win, great group… now we focus on Sweden.”
Fellow Giallorossi man Florenzi posted a photo of the on-field celebrations after Graziano Pellè made it 2-0 at the death, adding the caption: “Let’s stick together and move onto the next objective!”
