Wojciech Szczesny's European Championship is over after Poland were beaten on penalties by Portugal on Thursday evening.
After the game finished 1-1 after 120 minutes, Jakub Blaszczykowski saw his penalty palmed away by Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio, as Ricardo Quaresma subsequently fired home to secure a 5-4 shootout win for his team.
Szczesny made one appearance for his country, starting the opening victory over Northern Ireland - where he also kept a clean sheet.
However, the 26-year-old suffered a leg injury during that game that ruled him out of Poland's next group stage contest, and he did not return to the starting lineup for the remainder of the competition.
