AS Roma would like to thank fans for helping the club’s official Italian Twitter account pass the one million follower mark today
Launched in 2011, the club’s first ever tweet on the account was posted at 18:13 on 11 October.
Whilst the account originally tweeted in both Italian and English, last year Roma began launching stand-alone accounts in English, Indonesian, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Bosnian, Turkish and Greek which are now followed by over 180,000 fans.
