Gallery: Wednesday's training session in the driving rain

The players had to brave the elements on Wednesday morning, as heavy rain did not prevent the squad from getting down to work out on the pitch.

With the afternoon seeing the club's first friendly game of the season, against local side AC Pinzolo, coach Spalletti went through some pre-match instructions in less-than-ideal conditions.

The group also completed another gym session.
