Giacomelli to referee Roma v Bologna

Piero Giacomelli has been appointed as the referee for Roma's next league game against Bologna at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday 6 November.

It will be the seventh time the Trieste-based official has taken charge of the Giallorossi; the previous six occasions have seen four Roma wins and two draws.

Giacomelli's last Roma match was the home fixture against Sampdoria in Week 3 that was eventually won by a Francesco Totti penalty after a long interruption caused by a torrential downpour.

Assistant referees Fabiano Preti and Gianmattia Tasso, fourth official Alessandro Costanzo and additional assistants Michael Fabbri and Daniele Chiffi complete the refereeing team for the Week 10 encounter.
