Bruno Peres underwent tests earlier on Monday which revealed the player is suffering from a minor groin strain
The Brazilian full-back, who has made 10 appearances so far this season, sustained the injury on Friday, in a training session prior to Roma's win over Napoli.
He has already begun treatment and is expected to be sidelined for a fortnight.
