Eight players called for international duty

Eight Roma players have been called up for national team duty over the coming international break

Daniele De Rossi and Alessandro Florenzi have both been called up to the Italy squad for the World Cup friendlies against Spain (in Torino) and Macedonia (in Skopje), on 6 October and 9 October respectively.

Bosnia striker Edin Dzeko will face Belgium in Brussels on 7 October, before his side host Cyprus three days later. Belgium will be without midfielder Radja Nainggolan and defender Thomas Vermaelen, both of whom are dealing with injury issues.

In the same group, Greece's Kostas Manolas faces Cyprus on 7 October, and Estonia after that.

Giallorossi goalkeepers Wojciech Szczesny and Alisson have both been called to the Poland and Brazil squads respectively. Poland are due to face Denmark and Armenia, while the Selecao meet Bolivia and Venezuela.

Midfielder Kevin Strootman has two games with the Netherlands, against Belarus and France.

Finally, Mohamed Salah is on international duty with Egypt - facing Congo on 9 October.
