The Giallorossi won 3-1 at the Mapei Stadium, thanks to goals from Edin Dzeko (two) and Radja Nainggolan, as they continued to put pressure on Juventus at the top of Serie A.
“We conceded an early goal but we did well to stay in it and not panic," Fazio said. "We knew that if we played our game we'd be able to get the win.
"We're pleased with the way we played in the second half.”
Fazio has now established himself in the heart of the Roma defence alongside Kostas Manolas, impressing with some assured displays.
“I have to keep it up," he said. "We're enjoying a good spell and we need to carry on like this, playing with character and staying compact like we did today.
"It's a long season and we need to be consistent and try to get three points from every game.”
