Muriel: Legend Totti still making history

The Colombian – who scored a fabulous equaliser for the visitors on Sunday – was full of praise for the Roma captain after he came off the bench at half-time, before scoring a late winner.

“Totti is a legend who has made and continues to make history in football,” said Muriel in the Olimpico mixed zone last night.

“We all enjoy watching him play every time he gets on the pitch.”

Totti has now scored 249 Serie A goals during his career, and has found the net in every one of his 23 Serie A seasons – all of which have been at his beloved Roma.
