Diego Perotti believes Roma must react to Sunday's Torino defeat with actions and not words after a disappointing performance in the day's early kick-off.
The Granata condemned the Giallorossi to a second defeat of the Serie A campaign, on a difficult afternoon where Francesco Totti's 250th Serie A goal was about the only positive for the visitors.
Perotti won the penalty that saw Totti hit the landmark - but says he and all the other players must do more to help the cause after a painful lost.
"We lost in a manner that we're not used to," Perotti said. "Now it's time to keep quiet and work hard."
He added: "We're not doing well. I can definitely do better. Every day I train in order to improve and I give everything on the pitch. Unfortunately things aren't going as they were before."
The Argentine added that there were no explanations or mitigating factors for the performance.
"We're all disappointed, I'm not looking for excuses," he said. "We lost, we played badly and we messed up in front of goal.
"We cannot say anything because we didn't do our talking on the pitch and that's where we have to do it. We need to work harder and stick together because we win and lose as a team."
