The striking kit - first revealed on Monday morning - officially goes on sale from Thursday 22 September, with fans able to pre-order it now through the online ASRomaStore.
"It's a beautiful shirt, with similar colours to Holland," Strootman said. "I look forward to wearing it out on the pitch."
The 26-year-old modelled the new kit at the club's flagship store on Via del Corso, before signing merchandise for supporters and posing for photos.
"It's always beautiful to be with the fans," he added. "They are always great at every event, like this launch of the third kit."
The kit will be worn for the first time during the weekend trip to face Fiorentina in Serie A.
