Riccardo Marchizza scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot as the Primavera moved into the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia on Wednesday
Alberto De Rossi's side emerged 1-0 winners over Crotone at Stadio Tre Fontane, the hard-fought victory confirmed when captain Marchizza slotted home just before the hour-mark.
Roma will now face Lazio for a place in the final four - with the game taking place on 21 December.
