Daniele De Rossi has been omitted from Roma's squad to face Empoli on Saturday evening, as he recovers from a back injury sustained on international duty
De Rossi is the major injury absentee from Luciano Spalletti's 21-man group for the game, with fellow midfielder Kevin Strootman also suspended.
However there is a place in the squad for young full-back Nura Abdullahi, who returned to first-team training this week after recovering from a serious knee injury.
Saturday's game gets underway at 20:45 CST.
