Salah named in Cup of Nations Team of the Tournament

Salah scored twice and provided another assist as he helped his country reached the final - where his clever pass for Mohamed Elneny enabled Egypt to open the scoring.

Cameroon eventually fought back to win the game 2-1, thanks to Vincent Aboubakar's last-gasp strike, but Salah's individual efforts nevertheless saw him named in the organisers' best XI.

The forward will return to Rome on Tuesday, and be back at Trigoria to rejoin his club teammates on Wednesday.
